On October 23, 2006 the Hannah Montana game for the Nintendo DS was released. This game is about Miley Stewart, who is a teenage girl living in Malibu, California that is living a double life. She is actually a famous pop star by the name of Hannah Montana. In the Hannah Montana video game for Nintendo DS, there are some mysterious strangers who are threatening to reveal the truth behind Miley's dual identities.

The touch screen is uniquely utilized here. Instead of simply selecting statements with a tap or press of a button, players of this new Hannah Montana game for Nintendo DS must draw a pattern on the screen by using their stylus. These are the same patterns that are also used to open closed doors. In fact, everything in this Hannah Montana game is stylus-activated. When you move through each environment of this game you simply have to tap the screen where you would like the character move to. For this reason, this basic point and click game is not going to go down as a classic because it is over way too fast. However, this is a game that is both faithful and fun, just like the Hannah Montana show itself is.

Unfortunately there are some issues with this game because it uses double screens. While the design of the Nintendo DS has a great look, offers great sound and overall just feels great, the experience that you get with the double screens is just too short. For this reason, those who play the Hannah Montana game on the Nintendo DS, will feel like they want more gadgets, mysteries and anything else that has to do with Hannah Montana. In the future, people may get just what they want thanks to sequels and maybe a better design. However, for now this game definitely falls short.
